Operation Horses Heal’s Mobile Outreach Program exists to bring connection, support, and equine-assisted services directly into the community. Through mobile outreach visits, community members have the opportunity to meet our horses, donkeys, and staff, learn more about equine-assisted learning, and experience meaningful interactions in a welcoming and accessible environment.
Mobile outreach helps reduce barriers for Veterans, active military members, and their immediate families who may not otherwise be able to visit the farm due to transportation challenges, health concerns, mobility limitations, or distance. Outreach visits may include appearances at community events, Veteran gatherings, schools, recovery programs, nursing homes, hospice settings, Wisconsin Veterans Homes, and other community-based locations.
Our goal is to create opportunities for connection, conversation, education, and support while increasing awareness of available community resources. Mobile outreach also allows organizations and communities to partner with Operation Horses Heal to bring inclusive, relationship-focused equine experiences directly to the people they serve.
