Operation Horses Heal is a sober-friendly organization connecting Veterans to horses, donkeys, and the outdoors.

Through time with the herd, we slow down, rebuild trust, and reconnect—with nature, with each other, and with the parts of ourselves that may have gone quiet. There’s no pressure to talk, no expectations to perform—just a place to breathe, move, and be real.

Whether you’re new to horses or grew up around them, you’re welcome in this space. We meet you where you’re at, no pressure, no judgment—just honest work, support, and fresh air.
